The Best Things in Life Are Free
Paper City
How many times have you looked at one of your monkey’s coloring books and thought, “Well, I could do that. Maybe next time, I’ll save a few bucks and make one myself.”
But where is that coloring book of your dreams now? Probably somewhere in the idea graveyard with your ergonomic umbrella handle and your clip-on bangs.
Fortunately, Portland-based artist Joel Henriques had the same idea and actually did something about it. Henriques drew up some little people and buildings and put up the sketches on his much-loved blog, Made by Joel. You can download the templates for free, then just print them out and watch the kids go crayon crazy.
The money you save should just cover that sandwich – who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch?
